We are looking for motivated and honest individuals in Nigeria who can work part-time to create and facilitate connections between us, educational institutions, and students. Applicants should be driven, resourceful, excel at communication and organization, and impartial in all their dealings.  While this is not a requirement, people with existing affiliations with schools, universities, and educational boards in Nigeria are preferred.

Job Description:

• Connect with multiple schools about PalmFronds scholarship and mentorship opportunities

• Provide students at different schools with PalmFronds scholarship application, ensure they have the means to complete them, and collect their results

• Check that information provided by students are accurate by talking with teachers and officials

• Connect with local universities, businesses and industries about partnering with PalmFronds

• Assess student responses and give recommendations based on assessment

• Brainstorm innovative ways to improve the current PalmFronds pipeline

• Strive to ensure that all dealings between students, universities, businesses, and PalmFronds team members are fair

Requirements:

• Oral and written fluency in English and Igbo

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Connections with schools, universities, and educational boards in Nigeria is a plus

• Trustworthy and self-sufficient; this job requires someone who is impartial and respectful in all their dealings

• Must work well with others
